Healthy Costco Haul
Hello!! This Healthy Costco Haul post has been a LONG TIME coming. You all know how much I love Costco, and this has been a highly requested post I’m so excited to finally get to you! We will cover everything I get, section by section, as well as some of my favorite tips to use when shopping at Costco!
Healthy Costco Haul Tips & Tricks
- Choose your perfect membership!
- Gold Star Membership: This is the membership that Nick and I have. You can have up to 2 people on this membership for $60/year as long as you live in the same household.
- Executive Membership This membership is what my parents have, and it’s $120/year. The perks of this one is that you actually get your membership fee back if you spend a minimum of $10K at Costco annually. It sounds like a lot, but if you make any big purchases there. It comes out to around $830/month or $210/week. Nick and I will be upgrading soon!
- Save the Money!
- Price per unit: Costco has their own Kirkland brand of a LOT of products. Most of the time, they’re even made in the exact same factories as the name brand. I always look at the price per unit to see if it’s truly a better deal.
- Utilize the Return Policy: If you purchase something from Costco and anything goes wrong, they have the BEST customer service. They will almost always accept returns on items if you’re not satisfied. For example, Nick and I took back a set of non stick pans that we had for over a year that just weren’t so non-stick and we got a full refund!
