Healthy Addicting Cauliflower
If cauliflower can be pizza, you can be anything! Haha – but really, what can’t cauliflower do?! I’m a big fan of making cauliflower into pizza, pasta, tots, etc. – but it’s also DAMN GOOD as is! This cauliflower has definitely earned it’s name of healthy addicting
cauliflower – it’s truly addicting!
Healthy Addicting Cauliflower Deets!
First of all, this recipe for the sauce is absolutely amazing and can be used for any vegetable – it adds so much flavor and is insanely satisfying! Here are the ingredients in sauce:
- Organic Cauliflower: Always go for the organic cauliflower. It’s one of those that can be sprayed with a ton of pesticides and chemicals so you always want to buy it organic. Check out this list to see what veggies you can save $$ on and buy conventional vs. organic.
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil: This is great for your heart, heart healthy, anti-inflammatory and a great source of anti-oxidants.
- Maple Syrup: I love the monk fruit maple syrup, but don’t be afraid to use the real deal either- just be sure it’s pure maple syrup & nothing else added in the ingredients.
- Whole Grain Dijon Mustard: Mustard can help your digestion and helps speed up your metabolism.
- Nuttzo 7 Seed Butter: I’m a huge fan of this because it adds in lots of fiber and is only 2g net carbs, 4g protein and no sugar added. Should you choose to use a different nut butter, choose one with no added sugar or oil.
- Nutritional Yeast: This is a great source of vegan protein, as well as a great for promoting a healthy gut too!
It’s a killer combo that is both nutritious and delicious for the healthy addicting cauliflower (or any veggie for that matter!)
Cauliflower Macros!
