PurelyPope Wedding: Wedding Party Proposals
Ahhh this has been one of my favorite parts of wedding planning so far! Mainly because I love surprising people and giving my loved ones gifts. This time of course I was able to gift all of my Wedding Party Proposals! We’re going to break down what I did for my Flower Girl, Ring Bearer, Maids of Honor, Bridesmaids and the boy side – Best Man and Groomsmen. Let’s get into it!
PS – Keep in mind this was all done during COVID and my wedding party is ALL across the country, so I had to get creative!
Ladies First: Maids of Honor & Flower Girl Proposals
- Maids of Honor & Flower Girl
- First off, I’m having two maids of honor, both of my sister in laws, Brittnee and Marissa, I couldn’t choose just one!
- The Location/Theme: I wanted to create a ‘spa day’ type atmosphere so us girls (my mom, niece London and sister in laws) went off and I made us nail appointments at CurBar at One Paseo in Del Mar, CA. Luckily because of COVID, we had the whole place to ourselves!
-
- The BTS: I was able to maneuver my way inside the salon ahead of time and had the proposal boxes set up ready and waiting for our arrival. I had the salon employees in on it too. I asked them to offer my sister in laws champagne upon arrival to the salon and the bottles ended up being the first ‘proposal’ from me!
- The Proposals: After the ‘surprise’ (lol), they found their boxes! I had one set up for my mom, my maids of honor and my flower girl. Here’s what was in each one:
- Flower Girl:
- I used these white magnetic boxes with these gold letters to customize!
- Framed photo – I used these frames!
- I asked with this scratch off card!
- Custom Pouch – I used these pouches from amazon and ironed on these letter patches and this Flower Girl Patch from Stoney Clover
- LOL Doll Mask
- Unicorn Gummies
- Rainbow Sticker Collection
- Lip Smacker Chapstick
- Crayola Bath Paint
- And of course we had to wrap an LOL Doll Surprise Toy!

The Other Ladies: The Bridesmaids!
- The Bridesmaids
- I’m having EIGHT bridesmaids in addition to my maids of honor, and wanted this to be super special!
- The Location/Theme: These were done all over between LA, Chicago and virtually because they’re all located everywhere! For this box, I wanted it to be on brand and in-theme with the destination of the wedding, which is Naples, FL.
- The BTS: I had to trek everything to Chicago and ship some too! I tried to be as secretive as possible, but it wasn’t the easiest with traveling! I enjoyed a brunch or dinner w/ all of the girls afterwards.
- The Proposals: Ok let’s dive right into what was in each one:
- I used these white magnetic boxes with these gold letters to customize!
- I got these “ain’t no party like a bridal party’ cards to ask!
- I included a bottle of mini champagne with a custom label on each bottle in the box.
- I also got an amazing candle for each gal, which was a “will you be my bridesmaid candle” from my favorite, Taja collection.
- To play along with the theme of Naples, FL, I included a local piece from the destination, which was my favorite Naples Olive Oil Company Truffle Salt (you can only get locally!)
- Then, I ordered these fun sugar cookies on Etsy and included one in each box, too!
