This hemp seed bread was inspired by the most popular (and my favorite) recipe on my website, which is my Bagel Bread! This has a festive twist, utilizing rosemary, hemp seeds and extra virgin olive oil for a decadent and elegant flavor! It’s low carb, flavorFUL and delish. Let’s dive in to the specifics..

Hemp Seed Bread Specifics

As I mentioned, this bread was inspired by my Bagel Bread, but I wanted a different flavor that was perfect for the colder months. Rosemary elevates any recipe in my opinion, and the hemp seeds add a big bang for our buck nutritionally! Here’s what we need for the hemp seed bread..

  • Hemp Seeds: DUH! They make the texture of the bread incredible and add an amazing nutrient boost! Hemp seeds are high in protein (10g per 3 tbsp) and a great source of healthy fat and fiber, which I love.   • Extra Virgin Olive Oil: I consider this a superfood because it is so amazing for us! Everything from benefiting our hair, skin, nails, digestive system and more. Be sure to get cold pressed when you do get your olive oil, extra virgin AND organic if you can fit it in the budget.
  • Flavor: For the flavor punch, we do a combination of garlic powder, onion powder and of course fresh rosemary! Save some extra rosemary for garnish if you want to feel extra fancy!

Rosemary Olive Oil Hemp Seed Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 c water
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 c almond flour
  • 1/2 c hemp seeds, ground
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 4 sprigs fresh rosemary, stem removed so just the sprigs
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

Hemp Seed Bread Time!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Add all wet ingredients to a bowl (egg, water, ACV, olive oil) and mix well.
  3. Blend the hemp hearts in a blender or food processor.
  4. Then, add in all of the dry ingredients, including the hemp hearts, and mix well.
  5. Grease a 9″x5″ baking dish with avocado oil and add in batter evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes (depending on your oven), allow to cool and then enjoy!
