Seed Review: Worth the Hype?!
Spoiler alert on this seed review: YES, seed is worth the hype. There are so many reasons why I love this brand, but let’s dive deep and cover exactly WHY I love them seed so much. After taking the symbiotic for 3+ months (and a forever lover), I can attest to the good (gut) feelings too. Let’s dive in!
WTF are Probiotics & Prebiotics?
This seemed like a good topic to start on, LOL. Probiotics help support a healthy gut. Here’s the low down according to seed:
Probiotics are live microorganisms which, when administered in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit on the host.
In this, the host is US! The benefits they refer to would be some sort of beneficial change to our body. The adequate amount refers to the “CFU” you see on a probiotic label and is considered the dosage.
Prebiotics are JUST AS important as probiotics, and something that get overlooked too often! According to seed, probiotics are:
Substrates that are selectively utilized by host microorganisms, conferring a health benefit.
Translated into common speak: think of the prebiotics as nutrients and vitamins that help your bacteria THRIVE!
Probiotics & prebiotics together help keep our gut bacteria healthy and balanced. Seed SYNBIOTIC gives us a bang for our buck where we get both PRE & PRO biotics in one pill.
Sooo why do you need to take this? For the amazing *clinically-studied* health benefits it will provide you, which includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Gastrointestinal function
- Skin health
- Heart health
- Gut immune function
- Gut barrier integrity
- Micronutrient synthesis
Seed Review Q&A
- What is seed & why do I need it?
- As we covered above, it is a daily synbiotic (pre & probiotic in one pill) that combines 24 clinically-studied probiotic strains (not found in yogurt, most supplements, or fermented foods and beverages.)
- Not only does the synbiotic benefit and improve our digestive health, but it also expands out into skin health, heart health, immunity and better nutrient absorption.
- What makes seed different from other probiotics?
- Check out their shop page to see for yourself just how seed stands up to other pro & prebiotics. It’s WILD.
- They also care about the earth. You will receive ONE glass jar, and then all your refills come in recycled paper packaging. You get to be sustainable & healthy, it’s a win/win!
- As mentioned, but worth noting again, seed not only adheres to the FDA guidlines, but also all supplement guidlines globally.
- Seed has an on-staff Scientific Advisory Board. They’re always staying on top of the science and are 100% transparent in sharing all research on their product and PROVE the efficacy.
- Seed ensures all affiliates (like myself) are educated and go through Seed University to spread science and facts, rather than false claims and promotes #accountableinfluence. Test your knowledge with this fun quiz here!
- Most probiotics don’t survive the trip to your gut. Seed does. Then, you can actually enjoy the benefits from the synbiotic!
- How often do you take seed/what time of day?
- Per seed’s recommendation, you start with one pill for 1-2 weeks daily. Then, you increase to 2 pills per day. I take them with my first meal of each day.
- What are the benefits from taking the seed daily synbiotic?
- We’ve covered quite a few of these already, but I personally have seen clearer skin, more regular digestion and less bloating. This is the pill I will truly ALWAYS take.
- Bonus Adds:
- Seed is free of: Dairy • Gluten • Soy • GMOs • Binders • Fillers • Preservatives • 14 classes of allergens defined by the European Food and Safety Authority (EFSA)
