There’s truly nothing like a delicious kale salad, do you agree?! This one is PACKED with nutrients, full of flavor and unique too. It’s not your average kale salad, if ya know what I mean ;). This could be amazing for lunch, dinner or a side -anything you’d like! Let’s get into it…
Tahini Kale Salad Specifics
This tahini kale salad is super simple, packed full of flavor and one that you’re just going to KEEP coming back to. Trust me! Let’s get into what you need..
- Kale: Of course! You can use Dino Kale, Lacinato Kale or Curly Kale – any of them work! The trick with the kale is to remove the stems, as well as MASSAGE it. The kale needs to be softened, which essentially means rubbing it in your hands and – massaging it!
- Tahini: Again, DUH, lol! For this recipe, I used a pesto tahini from The Tahini Goddess (learn more about her here), but you can also use a plain tahini as well.
- White Balsamic Vinegar: This is such a good combination with the pesto tahini and KEY to the dressing!
- Seaweed Snacks: These seaweed sheets add SO MUCH FLAVOR! You cannot do the salad without them, trust me! I grabbed mine at costco, but you can also use these ones from amazon.

Ingredients
- 1 head kale, stems removed & massaged
- 2 hearts of palm, sliced
- 1 package seaweed snacks (17g), diced
- 1/2 c cherry tomatoes, sliced
- 1/2 avocado, diced
- 1/4 sweet onion, finely diced
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Dressing:
- 3 tbsp pesto (or regular) tahini
- 3 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
Instructions
It’s salad time!
- Add kale to a large bowl, and ensure that you massage the greens well with your hands, until it’s soft and a brighter green.
- Add remainder of salad ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, whisk tahini, white balsamic and lemon juice together.
- Combine dressing with salad and toss, then enjoy!
