Air Fried Onion Rings

Get ready for some air fried onion rings! Anyone else as into onion rings as I am? I’m a HUGE fan of them, but unfortunately they’re always deep fried. That’s where the air fryer comes in! It took me a while to figure out how to use mine, but once I did, it’s my new best friend! More on that below..

Air Fried Onion Rings Specifics

These onion rings take a bit of time, but trust me, it’s worth it! Let’s dive into what you will need to make them..

  • Air Fryer: Duh! Now, if you don’t already have one, I recommend this one. It’s the one that Nick’s parents have and it works amazing. I love how much it can fit and that you can see what’s cooking. If you’re looking for a less expensive option, check out this one, which I have and love!
  • Onion: Of course! Get a large sweet onion, and remove the outside layer carefully so that you can get nice rings for the onion rings!
  • Cracker Crumbs: For the recipe I used pulverized Almond Flour Crackers by Simple Mills. They’re clean, delicious and amazing! You could also use panko bread crumbs if you prefer.
  • Almond Flour Mixture: For the almond flour mixture, I also added in truffle salt (regular salt works too), paprika and garlic powder.
  • Make it Stick!: I used a combination of water, egg and unsweetened almond milk for this part.

If you’re looking for more delicious side recipes, be sure to check out my broccoli hash browns or veggie tots!

Lots of Love! x
