Grain Free Buffalo Cauliflower

First of all, you just absolutely cannot go wrong with Buffalo anything in my opinion, let alone grain free buffalo cauliflower! My inspiration for this dish was the classic buffalo chicken wrap, but since I’m not eating meat ATM, I wanted to make a cauliflower version and of course a healthier version all around. Read on to learn the deets!

Let’s Health-ify That!

I’ve been loving sharing how I make a version of anything that will ‘love you back’ if you catch my drift, so I’m going to do just that. Take you through how my brain works in finding healthy subs for those typical all-American dishes!

  • The process: Obviously deep frying things is not the healthiest for you. 🙂 To combat that, I like to use my handy dandy air fryer and if that doesn’t work, go ahead and broil it instead.
  • Don’t Panic, It’s Organic: Cauliflower is one of the vegetables that is on the ‘dirty dozen’ put out but the EWG, so it’s one you always want to buy organic. Basically, anything that doesn’t have a hard shell around it, I buy organic.
  • The Wraps: I love these coconut wraps, as well as these low carb tortilla wraps.
  • The Sauce: I love using this sauce by The New Primal. It only has 1g carb and 0g sugar which I love!

Finally, I love to serve these Grain Free Buffalo Cauliflower bites with veggies (duh) and some Kite Hill Ranch or Cream Cheese – really makes it!

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, riced & chopped into pieces
  • 1/2 bottle the new primal buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 c almond flour
  • Avocado oil spray
  • Pink Sea Salt

Instructions

Let’s Get Spicy! 

  1. Spray cauliflower with avocado oil and sprinkle with salt.
  2. Air fry for 15 minutes at 325 degrees or roast for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
  3. Put cauliflower in a bowl and toss with almond flour & buffalo sauce.
  4. Air fry for an additional 5 minutes. Or broil for 3ish minutes!
