Vegan Spinach Artichoke Dip
IDK about you but I love a delicious indulgent app, and this vegan spinach artichoke dip is no exception to that rule! You seriously won’t even know that it’s a healthier for you option 😉 – promise! My dad said it was “like crack” and he’s not a fan of all of the healthy foods if that says anything! Let’s get into it 🙂
Vegan Spinach Artichoke Dip Breakdown
Spinach artichoke dip typically is made with a ton of cheese, heavy cream, sour cream, and mayonnaise. We all know my thoughts on dairy, so making a vegan version of this delicious appetizer we all know and love! Here were my subs..
- Heavy Creams: Instead of using the typical heavy cream, mayo, sour cream, etc., I opted to use a plain (nut based) vegan cream cheese, I love the Kite Hill one or Miyoko’s one.
- Cheese: Typically this dip is also packed with a TON of cheese. Easy swap for that was my favorite Nutritional Yeast, which also packs a healthy serving of protein, too!
- Flavor: We always have to up the flavor with natural herbs, right?! I did a combination of dried oregano and crushed red pepper, which adds a bit of heat too!
- Minced Garlic: Garlic not only adds amazing flavor, but is also great for lowering blood pressure and cholesterol levels!

I personally love to pair the dip with some bell peppers, but you could also choose tortilla chips or crackers and you’re good to go!
